From a Single Oven to a St Paul Landmark
Punch pizza was born from a simple obsession: perfecting the art of Neapolitan-style punch pizza in Minnesota. In 2009, founder Marcus Webb set up a wood-fired oven on Grand Ave and started serving what locals quickly called the best pizza in St Paul.
What began as a passion project — inspired by travels through Naples and Rome — grew into a beloved neighborhood institution. We source our San Marzano tomatoes directly from Italian farms, mill our own flour, and hand-stretch every crust with the same dedication we had on day one.
Today, Punch pizza serves thousands of guests each week, but our philosophy remains unchanged: respect the ingredients, respect the craft, and always give guests more than they expect.
